Join Team Carpe' Diem in honoring PFC Cody Allen Board!
Team Carpe’ Diem honors PFC Cody Allen Board, who was killed in action on October 4, 2010, by an improvised explosive device (IED) near Mirwais, Afghanistan. An Army Infantryman, Cody was serving with the 1st Squadron, 2nd Stryker Cavalry Regiment based in Vilseck, Germany. He graduated from McKinney North High School where he lettered in cross-country and wrestling.
Carry The Load is a non-profit dedicated to providing active ways to honor and celebrate our nation's heroes by connecting Americans to the sacrifices made by military, veterans, first responders and their families.
All donations will go to Transition Skills Training, of which I serve on their Board of Directors!
Transition Skills Training is a non-profit organization providing low-cost access to skills training and education for veterans and their families, with a focus on their transition out of the military and into the civilian workforce. They provide entrepreneurial coaching, skills curriculum, access to technology, and research at no cost to the veterans they serve. They also work to educate employers on recruitment, hiring practices, and management strategies for the civilian workforce.
