My Personal Page -
Carry The Load is a non-profit dedicated to providing active ways to honor and celebrate our nation's heroes by connecting Americans to the sacrifices made by military, veterans, first responders and their families.
I plan to participate in the Memorial May events to remember, honor, and celebrate our nation's heroes by participating in the event and fundraising. Together, we can make a difference.
The Courage Foundation is a holistic transition and veteran reintegration program built around the Unbeatable Mind concepts of mastering oneself and serving others. Our 12-month Veteran Integration Programs (VIPs), held regionally across the U.S., consist of a 3-day immersive
retreat, followed by a 12-month program incorporating group and one-on-one coaching sessions, and are wrapped up by another 3-day immersive retreat, which includes the graduating boat crew cohorts and the incoming boat crew cohorts. This approach fosters cross-pollination between those veterans who are completing the program and those who are just starting their year-long, transformational journey.
Not for the faint of heart, the CF VIP offers, free of charge to the veteran, a new model of personal enrichment that will enable participating veterans to elevate their consciousness by training and integrating five key lines of human development, which we refer to as the “five mountains.” These are the physical, emotional, mental, intuitional, and spiritual intelligences.
This Unbeatable Mind paradigm includes learning how to avoid damaging psychological loops and traps, developing new patterns of thinking that are positive and supercharged, and working from the “we” perspective rather than the all too common, and very narrow “I” perspective so prevalent in veterans suffering from post-traumatic stress. Ultimately, The Courage Foundation’s Veteran Integration Program is about fully developing personal power in a way that fosters success in the workplace, along the career path, and in life,
when then enables the veteran to guide his or her tribe, organization, and community toward a better place.
In short, The CF is about mitigating the impacts of post-traumatic stress and fostering post- traumatic growth by guiding the veteran toward self-mastery for the purpose of serving others.
It is tragic that we are losing 22 veterans a day to suicide caused by Post Traumatic Stress. Please help Courage Foundation guide these veterans to a better place, a prosperpus and productive life of their choosing, and ultimately a long life of service to the nation and most of all their families.
Sincerly,
E. Lee Saffold.
