Who Are You Carrying?
Born and raised in middle Georgia, I am a 29 year old American who loves her country and actively supporting the friends, family, and loved ones of those who gave it all! In 2016 I graduated from Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College and I had no idea that I would be leaving with much more than my degree!
I started my journey with Carry The Load in 2015 by joining the East Coast National Relay Team as a leg captain through my connections with Dill Driscoll. Since my start with the CTL organization, I went on to participate on the first West Coast National Relay Team as a leg captain in 2016, and have committed to joining the CTL Family in Dallas every year for Memorial Day to welcome all National Relay Teams and participate in our Dallas Memorial March. I have also spent a week or so on the Mountain States National Relay Team as a leg captain.
Coming from a military family, I walk in remembrance of those who gave the ultimate sacrifice for this great nation. I walk for their families and friends so that they can share their stories about their loved ones and keep them alive in our hearts so that we may never forget the true meaning of sacrifice and the TRUE meaning of Memorial Day!
I am excited to share that I am registered to participate in this years Memorial May Event and will be joining the Mountain States National Relay team once again to help raise much-needed awareness and funds to assist with the many challenges that face out military, veterans, first responders, and their families.
