Please join Brent and Yvonne Freeman in supporting Carry the Load this Memorial May in honor of the sacrifices of fallen military, police, firefighters and first responders.  This is our 7th year participating, and we will again carry Michael Smith, a Dallas police officer killed in 2016, our UD classmate U.S. Navy Lieutenant Eric Hamm, killed in service in 1994, and our friend and teammates' grandfather Seaman 1st Class Wayland Causey served as a U.S. Naval Armed Guard during WWII. He was killed at Port Chicago, California while loading munitions bound for the Pacific Theater in 1944. It was the largest domestic wartime disaster in American history. It is our honor to carry him as well and honor his sacrifice.
