Once again I am raising funds for CARRY THE LOAD to honor our veterans and first responders.   This year will be a little different for me, however, as I will not be in Dallas this weekend.  I will walk in Auburn, AL in honor of the veterans listed below.  I hope you will join me in supporting this cause!! 

This year I am Carrying the Load in honor of:

1st Lieutenant Hill A. Feinberg, US Army Corp of Engineers, Vietnam Veteran and Chairman Emeritus of HilltopSecurities.

2nd Lieutenant Peter H. Burks, US Army, KIA November 14, 2007 serving during Operation Iraqi Freedom. He was assigned to the 4th Squadron, 2nd Stryker Cavalry Regiment in Vilseck, Germany. Peter was 26 years old and a graduate of Trinity Christian Academy here in Dallas and Texas A&M University. He died of wounds sustained when his vehicle struck and IED. Peter was survived by his mother, father, three sisters, a brother and his fiancée.  

Retired Air Force Major Tom Muschalek, 21 years active duty and a veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom. My oldest brother and someone to be admired.

The more than 1,400 members of the Texas A&M Corp of Cadets who have made the ultimate sacrifice serving their country going all the way back to WWI.
