Carry The Load's mission is to provide an active way to honor and remember our nation’s heroes by connecting Americans to the sacrifices made by our military, veterans, first responders and their families.

Memorial Day weekend 1985 is when SSG Leon Everett Dunphy Jr was lost. Months later, we lost SGT Kerry John Mercier. Their memory and conversations with their mothers will always be carried by me.

There are many that didn't return to their families due to combat or nonaction related deaths. They should be honored every Memorial Day as they earned that day through their service for us. 

I'm honoring and celebrating the memory of ALL of our nation's fallen with this year's events. I'm raising funds to support organizations that assist the families of the fallen. Their families deserve gratitude and support from all of us. We can never forget what they gave.
